COMMUNITY stalwarts in Aveley have once again ensured the town will have a Christmas lights display.

The volunteers who make up Aveley Village Community Foundation fund the Christmas Lights each year in Aveley High Street through fundraising during the year and the result of their efforts will be unveiled on Wednesday, 1 December.

After the switch on event, which starts at 3.30pm in Aveley High Street, residents are invited to visit the Aveley Community Hub for teas, coffee and hot chocolate.

This year's Christmas tree in Aveley has been sponsored by B&P Scrap.
