Watchful and caring neighbours alerted police over concerns but all ends well

POLICE forced entry into a property in Stanford-le-Hope today after being alerted about the possible welfare of its resident by neighbours.

They had been concerned about not seeing the resident for some time and were worried that something might be untoward.

However, when officers entered the property, they found it unoccupied and were able to reassure the neighbours.
