Wedding ring stolen in hospital - police seek help

POLICE are appealing for information about the theft of a wedding ring from a man who was in Basildon Hospital for treatment.

The ring (pictured) was taken from the victim, who is in his 70s, at around 3pm on 25 November.

A police statement said: "We need anyone who recognises the ring, believes they may have been offered it for sale, or has any other information to contact us."
