The big event of the weekend will be Saturday 's (6 September) Orsett Show. The 117th running of this traditional show features a host of attractions including a new children's fancy dresss event.

On Sunday a new 10K run will be the centrepiece of a new fun day planned for Grays.

Grays Riverside Community Big Local and Thurrock Lifestyle Solutions are organising forces behind the event taking place at Kilverts Field on Sunday, 7 September.
