AFTER a weekend of Halloween fun, borough thoughts and parties turn to bonfire night - while the beginning of the Remembrance season also kicks in.

There are many firework displays across the borough, but one of the most unusual will happen at Treetops School in Grays where there will be music to accompany the display - which will be devoid of bangs and loud explosions.

Check out our What's On page for other displays.

There's something different at Thurrock Rugby Club, where you can not only enjoy a disco - but also a tasty meal.

Remembrance begins in the west of the borough with the traditional first Sunday morning of November service at Purfleet.
