The sounds of sweet soul music will reverberate at the Civic Hall, Blackshots on Friday..

The show features songs by Aretha Franklin, Earth Wind and Fire, James Brown, Wilson Pickett, Sam and Dave, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner, The Pointers Sisters, Whitney Houston, Ben E King, Barry White and many, many more!

Music of a different genre is on at the Thameside Theatre on Saturday night.

Barry Steele and his cast of musicians and singers present a great live show as they tell the story of Roy Orbison.

The Thameside will also be busy on Saturday for the second of the audition days for the forthcoming production by Rare Productions of We Will Rock You.
