THE Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for tomorrow (Thursday, 20 May), alerting residents in Thurrock and south Essex to the dangers of high winds.

The forecasters predict dangerous condition from around 5pm tomorrow and say the high winds will last until 10pm on Friday evening.

It is predicted that the adverse conditions will lead to some travel disruption and, perhaps, damage to temporary outdoor structures.

It is advised that unless a journey is essential, it be delayed.
