Woman freed from trapped car

A WOMAN is recovering after being freed from her car by firefighters after it left the road.

The accident happened at North Hill, Horndon on the Hill at 8.45am today (Monday, 9 December).

Two crews from Basildon were called to the scene and had released the woman by 9.13am and she was left in the care of the ambulance service.
