WORKERS at the Thurrock branch of national plant and site equipment providers Garic have boosted three charities with a timely festive gift.

Across the country, members of Garic's teams have been nominating worthy causes close to their hearts and at the Thurrock-based London Service and Distribution centre at Waterson Close, West Thurrock, staff have elected to share out £2,500.

A spokesperson for the company said: "After a difficult year for everyone, we feel that giving back in this manner is the right thing to do, after all, we are proud to be a part of our communities throughout the UK.

"The staff in our Thurrock depot have picked MIND and NSPCC, which will each receive £500, and also Guide Dogs for the Blind, who will receive £1,500."
