MORE return trips to London from Tilbury by Uber Boat have been announced following the success of previous ventures.

During the summer a number of trial runs were made of the service from Tilbury to the capital - in advance of a possible permanent service and the creation of a dedicated terminal for the clipper boats at Tilbury.

The latest trips will take place in the run up to Christma, with dates set as Saturday, 27 November and Saturday, 4 and 11 December.

The boats pick up at Tilbury, cross to Dartford and then take just 40 minutes to reach Greenwich Peninsula (North Greenwich Pier), or 60 minutes to London Bridge (London Bridge City Pier). Along the way, you'll sail past many of the city's iconic sights including The Thames Barrier, The O2, The Old Royal Naval College Greenwich, Canary Wharf and under Tower Bridge.
