Young girl hurt in Tilbury crash

A YOUNG child is among two people hurt in a collision in Tilbury after which a man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving
Police officers investigating the collision in Hume Avenue are appealing for witnesses.
The collision happened at around 9.50am yesterday (Saturday, 2 May) and involved a Black Ford Focus and a white Transit Tipper truck. The Transit left the scene before officers arrived.
Two people, a man and a young child, were injured in the collision.
Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it and anyone who have any Dash Cam or other footage.
They are also keen to trace the driver of the Transit.
