Youngster required operation after large fight that left another teenager knocked out

POLICE are appealing for information following an assault in South Ockendon where a teenager was left needing surgery.
Officers were called to a large fight involving at least six people in Broxburn Drive at around 7.50pm on Thursday, 16 June.
A 15 year-old boy, struck by a metal chair and a metal pole, required plastic surgery to his wrist.
Another person was knocked unconscious.
One of the men police are looking to speak to is described as white, wearing a pale grey Adidas t-shirt, and grey shorts.
A police statement said: "We need anyone who saw anything or has any CCTV, dash cam or doorbell footage to contact us.
