Aveley 6, Romford 0
FOR a second successive match Aveley his six goals to round what has been a spectacular first half of the season off in style.
The visitors hadn't played for three weeks and looked rusty as Shad Ngandu gave the Millers a ninth minute lead when he slotted home at the far post after great work from Wyan Reid.
Though he failed to get among the goals George Sykes was pivotal to most things Aveley did up top, holding the ball up and playing in teammates though the second goal on 14 minutes had little to do with creativity as keeper Manny Agboola and a defender got in a right tangle, allowing Akrofi the simplest of tap-ins.
Akrofi grabbed his second two minutes before the break and had his hat trick eleven minutes after the resumption as Aveley showed no signs of letting up.
Ngandu got his second with 12 minutes to go for and Akrofi, who had run his marker Ryan Cresswell ragged all afternoon, got his fourth goal of the game seven minutes from time.
Millers remain second in the Bet Victor Isthmian North, three points behind long time leaders Maldon who thrashed Witham 5-0.
