Blues make an early signing

WHILE the professional football season is drawing to a close with the culmination of competitions, the non-League world, which ended its league competitions with the implementation of lockdown.

The borough's non-league teams Aveley, East Thurrock United, Grays athletic and Tilbury are currently evaluating their squads and making plans for a new campaign in august.

Among the first to make a signing - though not on the pitch - is Grays Athletic.

The Blues have announced that Sophie Panons will be joining manager Jim Cooper's back room staff as the new first team physio.
