Aveley put in a hard-working performance on Saturday and gave a good account of themselves against Isthmian Premier Kingstonian at Parkside but went down 1-0 to a second half goal from Gus Sow.

Tilbury, who travel to East Thurrock United on Tuesday evening for a borough derby as the countdown to the season continues, drew 0-1 at home in a game against Cray Valley Paper Mills that will soon be forgotten.
