Grays and Aveley through in cup - Tilbury are out

GRAYS Athletic and Aveley live to fight another day after victory in today's FA Cup Preliminary Round ties - but Tilbury are out of the competition.
Aveley faced something of a banana skin with a tough looking trip to lower league Harpenden and came through with a 3-0 win.
First half goals from Bradley Sach and George Sykes and a second half goal from George Allen saw the Millers through comfortably.
It was a lot closer at Parkside where Grays needed a last minute goal to beat fellow Isthmian North Witham Town - and it came when Nathan Okaye put through his own goal.
In another all Isthmian North tie Tilbury went down 2-0 at Coggeshall.
