LIVE football will return to the borough on Saturday with action at Aveley FC's Parkside ground when they will entertain neighbours East Thurrock United in a friendly.

The match kicks-off at3pm and admission will be £5 for adults. Season ticket holders will get in for free.

Aveley will be using the match as a warm-up for important competitive action the following Tuesday when they play host to Hastings United in the first round proper of the FA Trophy.

Grays Athletic will also be in action on Saturday. They travel to Hornchurch in another Isthmian North v Isthmian Premier clash. The match at Bridge Avenue will kick-off at 2pm and admission is £5 - Under 12s free.
