TILBURY FC manager Marc Harrison has expressed his delight after signing experienced non-League player Lee Noble.

32-year-old Noble has joined the Dockers after 12 years at National League South side Dartford, where he played more than 500 games.

In 12 years with the Darts he won many honours including two Isthmian league promotions and two Kent Senior Cup medals.

His service with Dartford was rewarded with a testimonial match, though it has yet to take place because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Harrison said: "Lee is a good signing for the club and is a passionate and hardworking player. I hope to include Lee on Saturday in our first home game of the season against Dereham."

Other matches involving local clubs tomorrow include East Thurrock United's first Isthmian Premier home game against Cray Wanderers, Grays Athletic's home derby with Canvey Island and Aveley travelling to Barking where they will face Romford.
