AVELEY FC have been drawn away at former League club Notts County in the quarter-finals of the Buildbase FA Trophy.

A remarkable run by the Millers, who previously had an appalling record in the Trophy, means they will enjoy one of the biggest days in the club's history at Meadow Lane on Saturday, 29 February.

Club chief executive Craig Johnson said the club were 'ecstatic' with the draw, adding: "Millers making History ....so so pleased for everyone that has past and present supported this club of ours.

"Dreams do come true. So pleased for everyone connected with the club. Notts County away ... I cant believe it. Aveley FC playing in this stadium ... WOW. Can't wait for Saturday 29th February. ..... it is a leap year isn't it ... it's not all still a dream surely !!!

"Let's leave the village and make some noise at Notts County - here we come."

The draw in full:

Barnet v Halesowen Town

Notts County v Aveley

Concord Rangers v Royston Town

AFC Fylde v Harrogate Town

Millers should have been in action this evening at Parkside, with a BetVictor Isthmian North clash against AFC Sudbury scheduled but the clubs and league agreed the game should be postponed because of transport problems in the wake of Storm Ciara.
