ALL three Isthmian Premier matches look set to go ahead today (Monday, 27) December having avoided the problems of covid or pitch inspections which have affected some matches in the competition.

A big crowd is expected for the derby at Parkside where landlords Aveley will play host to their tenants Grays Athletic. Kick-off is at 3pm and both sides are riding high in the north division.

Aveley are third with 33 points from 18 matches and Grays fifth with 32, but they have played a game less.

Tilbury will travel to Canvey Island for another south Essex derby against a side sitting second in the table, also kicking off at 3pm.

In the premier division East Thurrock face a trip east and will go to play at Brightlingsea Regent (3pm).
