Rocks' game is on - then it's off! Ref makes late morning call

DESPITE passing an early morning pitch inspection, East Thurrock United's game at Brightlingsea Regent is now off.

The hosts announced the pitch was fit after the 9am inspection but a visit by the match referee at 11am had a different outcome and he has called the game off!!
