UPDATED Tilbury match also off. Rocks' game off, table-topping Millers will face a test of credentials. Grays at home
Update: Tilbury's match also now off following pitch inspection.
OVERNIGHT rain has left East Thurrock's Rookery Hill ground unfit for play so today's (Saturday, 8 January) clash with table-topping Worthing has been called off.
There will be two matches in the borough in the Isthmian North.
Grays Athletic will be hoping to improve on recent disappointing form when they entertain fourth-placed Dereham Town. Three successive defeats have seen Grays drop out of the play-off zone to seventh so they will be keen to ensure they don't lose more ground.
Tilbury, who had a pick-me-up by gaining a point with a late goal against high-flying Aveley, last week will be looking to go two points better when they entertain Bury Town, who are just three places above them in mid-table.
Aveley, who sit atop the table, don't have far to travel - just down the A13 where they will face Hashtag United at Bowers' & Pitsea's Len Salmon Stadium. Hashtag have been in good form lately and sit sixth, a point behind the play-off zone so it will be a genuine test of Aveley's title credentials.
