Cambridge City 0, Tilbury 1

FOR a second match running Tilbury ended their match with ten men, but unlike the FA Cup exit against Coggeshall where David Knight's dismissal irreparably damaged the Dockers' hopes, on Saturday the ten man came through to win in the opening encounter of the Isthmian North season.

As well as a straight red card for sub Cameron Brodie just nine minutes after he came on midway through the second half Tilbury also picked up four yellow cards, but the impressive result overshadowed everything else.

Tilbury took the lead in the 14th minute through Brian Moses at the Glassworld Stadium and fought a rearguard battle to hold on for the victory.
