Romford 1, Tilbury 2

A LATE goal from Joe Wright secured an Isthmian North victory for Tilbury in their derby with Romford at Mayesbrook Park this evening (Wednesday, 29 September).

It proved to be a comeback victory for the Dockers who found themselves a goal down when L'heureux Menga scored for Boro after 34 minutes.

The visitors didn't get on level terms until Lewis Smith needed from the penalty spot on 78 minutes and with two minutes to go substitute Wright, recently signed from Walthamstow, grabbed the winner that lifts Tilbury to 14th in the table.
