AVELEY welcome Weston-Super-Mare with both clubs desperate for three points at different ends of Vanarama National South table.
Millers will be looking to build on Tuesday's impressive win at Maidstone which has revived hopes of climbing out of the relegation zone, while the visitors are eighth, a place and three points behind the promotion play-off positions.
In the Isthmian North a series of postponements and disappointing results, including defeat at home to Brentwood on their last outing, have seen Tilbury slip to eighth.
While, with matches in hand, they are far from out of the promotion race but the title looks beyond them.
Dockers are 17 points behind leaders Felixstowe and Walton United but have the chance to cut that gap today (Saturday, 15 February) when they travel to the Martello ground to take on the Seasiders in a battle of the port towns.
Tilbury might take some hope from neighbours and tenants Grays Athletic who won 3-1 on their visit to the Suffolk coast just a few weeks ago.
Sadly for the Blues that has been their sole win since November, when they were well-placed in the table.
Now they are nearer the drop zone than a promotion place and a win at home to Gorleston today would be most welcome.
In the Essex and Suffolk Border League Premier Division East Thurrock Community FC are home to Cressing United, kick-off is 2.30pm.
