Back to the main business for Millers. Dockers and Blues have their own challenges
By Nub News Reporter 13th Feb 2026
AFTER the disappointment of being kicked out of the Essex Senior Cup final, Aveley will get on with the season's main task - promotion back to the National League South - with a trip to Lews on Saturday (14 February).
Millers are second in the Isthmian Premier, 14 points behind runaway leaders Folkstone. It seems likely that, barring a late season implosion, the Kent side will take the one automatic promotion spot but Millers will continue the chase and hope to secure home advantage in the play-offs.
Their away form has been superb all season so a trip to 14th-placed Lewes should hold no fears.
In the Isthmian North, Tilbury - who this week parted company with keeper Dion Henry - make the long trip to seventh-placed Wroxham, while Grays will play host to Heybridge Swifts.
One of the surprises of the season has been Swifts' demise from regular promotion-chasers to relegation battlers. They sit in 21st position, four places below Grays and eight points behind them.
The match at Chadfields will be subject to a 9am pitch inspection.
East Thurrock Community FC are without a match this weekend.
