AVELEY make the long trip to Bath City today (Saturday, 21) for what could be a pivotal clash in the Vanarama National League South relegation battle.

Last season both sides reached the play-offs but it's been a different story this campaign and both are in the dogfight at the other end of the table.

Millers sit fourth from bottom, in the drop zone, while Bath are a place and four points above them.

Aveley travel to Twerton Park looking for a first away victory since Enfield Town away at the end of October.

In the Isthmian North Tilbury also have long away day, travelling to Wroxham. 

Dockers have won just twice in all competitions since the end of October, their latest defeat being an Essex Senior Cup quarter-final exit at Heybridge in midweek.

The last league success was at Cambridge City on 30 November and they have slipped out of the play-off zone - though they do have matches in hand on all five teams above them.

Today's trip to Trafford Park is an opportunity for a change in fortune as Wroxham are inbthe drop zone and have only won one of eight home league matches to date. 

Grays Athletic will also be seeking a change in fortune, having lost their last two league matches and slipped to eighth.

Today they entertain 11th-placed Walthamstow at Chadfields. It will be the second meeting between the sides this season, Grays having won on penalties after a 1-1 draw when the sides met at Wadham Lodge in the Velocity Cup in early September.

East Thurrock Community FC are without a match today.
