TILBURY will travel to Saffron Walden this evening (Tuesday, 12 December) for a dress reheasal of Saturday's twice-postponed FA Vase match.

That clash, which has been called off at the EMR Stadium on successive Saturdays, will now be played on Saturday (16 December) at Catons Lane, where the sides will line-up tonight.

The winners of Saturday's tie will go through to the last 32 of the competition where they will be away to either Suffolk side Walsham Le Willows who play in the Eastern Counties League Premier Division or fellow Essex Senior League side White Ensign. Southend-based Ensign play their home matches at Great Wakering's Burrough's Park ground.

Possibly making his Tilbury debut tonight will be new signing from Bishops Stortford, Ben Marlow.

The midfielder, best known locally for his promotion-winning spell with now defunct East Thurrock United, started his career at West Ham and numbers Chelmsford City among his previous clubs.

A win or draw this evening will take Dockers to the top of the Essex Senior League Premier Division table.
