Belle Vue Social 0, East Thurrock Community FC 4

GOALS from Harry Prince, Kieron Miles, Bailey Morris and Jack Coventry marked a superb away day for the Rocks.

There was chaos before a ball was kicked, as Belle Vue only had 9 players on the pitch, this was resolved around five minutes in.

This led to immediate pressure from East Thurrock, with Toby Adekunle, still searching for his first goal, shooting wide. The man on loan from Tilbury then played a big part in the opener, with his cross being clinically finished by Harry Prince, who is now the first player to reach double figures for ETCFC.

There was nearly breathing room after half an hour as Louis Sharkey's cross reached the far post, but Adekunle had his effort tipped onto the post.

Two minutes out from halftime, East Thurrock would double their lead, with another Louis Sharkey cross, this time being converted by Kieron Miles, his first goal for the club.

There was no let up from the Rocks who were on their way to creating a 5-point gap between the teams, as Adekunle came close again, while Harry Salter and Ray Snares came within inches of opening their Rocks' accounts.

The win was safe in the 72nd minute as substitute Bailey Morris lobbed the keeper from 20 yards out for his first of the campaign. There was to be another goal in the last minute of normal time as another substitute Jack Coventry found the top corner from 25 yards, capping a great day for East Thurrock.

It is another good result for the Rocks, two clean sheets in a row away from home and four games unbeaten to end the first calendar year and will look to start 2025 in the same manner as they host White Notley on the 4th of January at Wyldecrest.

Lineup: Tommy Bruley, Lewis Gardener, Louis Sharkey, Ray SnareS, Bobby Reeman, Tobi Adekunle, Kieron Miles, Iziengbe Ikponmwosa-Ikuero, Harry CowlbecK, Harry Prince, Harry Salter.

Subs: Reiss Hatwell, Kyle Smith, Joey Purdy, Bailey Morris, Jack Coventry.
