New Salamis 2, Grays Athletic 3

GRAYS moved to the brink of the Isthmian North play-off zone thanks to Wednesday evening's match at Haringey, which was decided in a roller-coaster first half!

All five goals came before the break, with Grays establishing a two goal led through Anointed Chukwu (8 minutes) and Joshua Osude (31).

The Blues' George Winn put through his own goal on 34 minutes, but Sam Bantick restored the wider advantage before the break - only for the hosts' Derek Asamoah to make it 3-2 in added time with a goal for the division newcomers.

Bizarrely, after such an action-packed first half there were no more goals but Grays held on to take the spoils and move to sixth place in the table.
