GRAYS Athletic will travel to Suffolk this evening (Tuesday, 25 April), hoping to spring a big surprise and make it through to the Isthmian North play-off final.

Long-time division leaders AFC Sudbury, who were eventually pipped to the title by Hashtag United, were 19 points ahead of Grays at the end of the campaign, and the Yellows have already defeated their visitors twice this season. Indeed, Athletic haven't defeated the Yellows since March 2019, when goals from Mitchel Hahn. Aron Gordon and Michael Toner earned them 3-2 victory.

The aggregate this season is 5-1, in favour of the hosts. However, both sides start off on level terms at 7.45pm!

The other semi-final sees Lowestoft Town playing host to Heybridge Swifts. The two sides met only ten days previously and that match ended in a 4-4 draw.

Whatever the result at the end of normal or added time tonight, there will be an outcome as the ties go to penalties.
