Aveley 1, Enfield Town 1

ON a bitterly cold night in front of 203 diehard supporters of two Isthmian Premier promotion chasers honours were even.

Chances were few and far between as two well-matched sides cancelled each other out.

Both goals came in the closing third of the match at Parkside, with George Sykes opening the scoring on 65 minutes when he brought the ball down on the edge of the box and fired a shot into the corner of the net.

However, with five minutes to go Adam Cunnington levelled things up.
