New Salamis 1, East Thurrock United 2

IT proved to be the late, late show for East Thurrock United as the Rocks extended their unbeaten away run to eight matches as they picked up three Isthmian North points in North London.

Meeting the league newcomers for the first time at Haringey Borough's ground, Rocks were on the brink of defeat with just a couple of minutes left.

But, playing against ten men after the 68th minute dismissal of Junior Luke, East Thurrock kept going and Sam Carter put them level with two minutes remaining.

That cancelled out Derek Asamoah's 34th minute goal for new Salamis and it looked that honours would be shared but Rocks kept going and in added time substitute Brian Moses gave them victory!

The win puts them within two points and a cople of places of a spot in the play-off zone.
