Maldon & Tiptree 3, Grays Athletic 1

MALDON and Tiptree were focused on returning to the top of the Isthmian North table as they hosted Grays Athletic on Saturday, 13 December but it was the visitors who made a breakthrough on 20 minutes, Jack Stone with the opener. 

The Jammers weren't behind for long, Terrell Egbri quickly equalising on 25 minutes but it looked like the match was heading towards a draw when Louis Dunne decided otherwise, putting the hosts ahead four minutes from time. 

Tevan-Allen made it three-one right at the end, and Maldon remain a point behind the leaders with two games in hand.
