THURROCK'S football star Michelle Agyemang was among those honoured in the King's Birthday Honours list.

South Ockendon-born Michelle, who plays for Arsenal scored two crucial equalisers for England during the knock-out stages of Euro 2025., helping the Lionesses to lift the trophy.

She was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE).
