THERE were plenty of goals as the young Millers made it through to the next round of the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday evening (17 September).

It was a match that fluctuated throughout and Millers were 2-1 down early in the second half after Oliver Purdie had put them level in the first, but they dragged themselves ahead 3-2 with goals from Lusher and Colyer. 

Woodford equalised with five to go, but two goals in added on time sent Millers through.

Aveley will travel to Hertfordshire to take on Ware in the second qualifying round, with matches due to be played in the week beginning Monday, 29 September.
