Havant & Waterlooville 1, Aveley 4

DESPITE conceding an eighth minute opener, Aveley bounced back from the disappointment of a 1-1 home draw with Truro at the weekend to produce an emphatic away win against the National League South's bottom club on Wednesday (25 October) evening.

Muhammadu Faal got the hosts off to a flier with the early goal but Millers were back on level terms on 20 minutes when Eduino Vaz scored.

Harry Gibbs grabbed the visitors' second after 35 minutes and they took the lead into the break.

The match was all but wrapped up just before the hour when Charlee Hughes netted Millers' third and sub Alex Hernández wrapped up the scoring moments after coming on in the 80th minute.
