AVELEY celebrated manager Brett Munyard's birth day by earning an FA Cup replay at Halesowen's Grove ground in Birmingham - and they will look to complete the job and earn a place in the fourth qualifying round at Parkside on Monday.

Millers made a bright start an after seven minutes Suly Zuhdu so close to putting the Millers ahead.

The next significant chance came at the other end ten minutes later but Aveley keeper Joe Wright reacted quickly to snuff out the danger.

Both sides were unable to create much and it was no surpise they went in goalless at half time.

Halesowen had marginally the better of the early stages of the second half and Wright was called into action again to make a stop on his line.

And he was busy again in the closing moments, pushing the ball over the bar to ensure stalement and Monday's rematch, by which time the fourth qualifying round draw will have been made.
