THERE will be much focus on events at Parkside this afternoon where Aveley play host to neighbours Brentwood Town in the FA Cup second qualifying round.

With Aveley in mid table and Brentwood stranded at the foot of the table, the odds would look stacked in favour of the home side but all form and prospects went out of the window on Thursday night when Millers manager Brett Munyard walked out on the club – and joined Brentwood.

In league action, Grays Athletic make the journey to Norfolk to face Wroxham at their Ginger Pickle Stadium (also known as Trafford Park).

The last three meetings between the sides in Norfolk have all ended 1-1, though Grays have the most recent win in ten previous encounters between the sides, a hard-fought 1-0 win at Chadfields in March when Blues overcame an early red card for Ethan Cann to triumph with a goal from Caiden Ellis Remy Dee.

Wroxham have made a good start to the season and sit second in the Isthmian North table with four wins from five. Grays are seven places behind them and have picked up just one point from three away days to date.

Tilbury are at home to Little Oakley, last season's winners of the Essex Senior League, gaining promotion to step four for the first time in their history.

They have made a good fist of their start to the season, picking up two wins and a draw from their four matches and they are in eight place.

Tilbury's form has been erratic and they are 15^th with just one win from five outings.

In the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League South Division East Thurrock Community FC end a long run of home matches with a trip to Hertford Heath, who are eighth – a place above the Rocks.
