THERE was disappointment for T-Birds Firsts in their second Championship South outing of the season at bath on Sunday (22 September).

Having gone down 24-17 at London Irish, the team were optimistic about bouncing back against Bath, but in the end were beaten 26-16 at at Lambridge.

There was some consolation for the club back at Oakfield, where the seconds posted a  35-33 win against Thamesians to get their Women's NC 1 South East (North) campaign off to a winning start. The seconds will be back in action on Sunday, 6 October at Ealing Upper Clapton.

The senior ladies get an immediate chance for redemption, at home to Hackney next Sunday (29 September) in the Papa John's Women's Intermediate Cup.
