Tilbury move a step closer to Wembley after penalties triumph

TILBURY have beaten Saffron Walden in the FA Vase third round. The Dockers won five-four on penalties as the game ended nil-nil after 90 minutes on Saturday (16 December).
The game took place at Catons Lane after being postponed twice at the EMR Stadium.
Both sides had good chances, especially in the first half. Tilbury's best effort came in the 48th minute as Roman Campbell won possession on the wing, he put in a great cross, but Harry Donovan couldn't connect with the ball.
Half-chances ensued in the second half. Subsequently, it ended nil-nil after 90 minutes.

Tilbury will receive £1,125 for winning the third-round clash.
The Dockers face Walsham Le Willows in the fourth round. Walsham plays in the Eastern Counties League. The fixture will take place on Saturday 13 January at Summer Road.
Tilbury returns to the EMR Stadium next Saturday (23 December) to play Takeley FC. Takeley sits 15th in the Essex Senior Football League and was in decent form before their four-three loss against Halstead Town.
