AVELEY will once again be facing an uphill task as they bid to rekindle a relegation battle in the Vanarama National League South today (8 March).

Millers travel to play-off chasing Borham Wood in deseperate need of a win to spark come hope of climbing off the bottom, but a first win in six looks a difficult ask.

In the Isthmian North Tilbury will be seeking to make up ground on the top five when they entertain neighbours Basildon United at Chadfields.

Grays Athletic have been bouyed by the return of striker Sam Bantick from Tilbury for his third spell with the Blues and he's expected to feature at Maldon and Tiptree today.

In the Essex and Suffolk Border league East Thurrock Community FC travel to Stanway Pegasus Reserves.
