Vital issues on the line at top and bottom of tables

AVELEY will be looking to bounce back from last weekend's home defeat by Cray Wanderers and consolidate their second place in the Isthmian Premier when they travel to third-placed Chatham on Saturday (4 April).
With just five matches to go, a win and three points at the The Bauvill Stadium would almost certainly secure a play-off place as just six teams are in with a realistic chance of making the four positions below leaders Folkestone, who could secure the title at St Albans on Saturday.
However, Millers will want to push on and secure second spot and guaranteed home matches in the play-offs.
In the Isthmian North, it's crunch time for Grays who will be desperate to get three points from their home match with Brightlingsea Regent to avoid the possibility of dropping into the relegation zone. After Saturday's match at Chadfields, the Blues have four matches left, including a derby against Tilbury on Easter Monday, followed by a home matches against another local rival in Concord Rangers and entertaining fellow relegation battlers Lowestoft.
Things are much less stressful for Tilbury, who go to Lowestoft on Saturday and could do Monday's 'El Chavico' rivals a big favour.
After their Essex & Suffolk Border League Knock-out Cup win at Springfield last weekend, East Thurrock Community FC return to their promotion quest in the Premier Division with a trip to White Notley (3pm).
