THURROCK T-Birds completed btheir home Championship South season with a 32-20 win against Trojans at Oakfield today (Sunday, 8 March).

Forward Sam Wilmott and three-quarter Maddy Major picked up the positional player of the match aawards, while Mike Dunk & GemSmart sponsored the Payer of the Match award which went to Toba Lawale

T-Birds expressed thanks to Dave Conroy of Coconut Pier for visiting the club to create a promotional video (with drone!) and interviews with the team.

The win secured sixth place in the table for T-Birds.

There was also a special T-Birds presentation to Thurrock under 7 player Avery who has just 'rung the bell' after recovering from cancer – a future T-Birdnin the club's midst.
