AFTER a week off to savour their second win in the competition, Thurrock return to London & SE Division Regional 2 South East action today (Saturday, 22 March) with a trip to Beckenham.

They will travel in good spirits after the nail-biting 28-27 win against Reeds Weybridge but know their hosts will be a tough challenge. The match will be live-streamed via this link.

Beckenham sit second, and are just two points behind leaders Medway. They won 35-8 at rain-soaked Oakfield in the midst of Storm Darragh in December.

T-Birds firsts, who enjoyed a fine win last weekend,  will complete their Championship South season at home to third-placed London Irish tomorrow (kick-off 2.30pm).

Celebration could be the order of the day at the Twyford Avenue Sports Ground in Acton where a win against Wasps will put T-Birds seconds in an unassailable position at the top of the Women's NC 1 South East (North) table.

T-Birds crushed their hosts 65-0 in the corresponding home fixture in December.

The seconds then have one final league match, home to Chesham on Sunday, 6 April before their Papa John's Intermediate Cup semi-final against Newbury on Sunday, 13 April for a place in the final at Twickenham on 18 May.
