THURROCK RFC face a tough challenge when they play host to second-placed Sidcup in the London & South east Division Regioanl 2 South East today (Saturday, 1 February).

With just one win to their name all season, recorded at Oakfield against Old Colfeians three weeks ago, Thurrock lost their last outing at Old Reigation on 18 January.

However, they had last weekend off to recharge batteries, while today's visitors lost 24-34 at home to Sutton & Epsom a result that dents their title aspirations.

Tomorrow Thurrock T-Birds entertain Championship South leaders Old Albanians South, buoyed by last week's 15-3 win against Henley in tough, wet conditions.
