THURROCK Firsts will be hoping for a first London & SE Division Regional 2 South East victory on Saturday (21 September) when they cross the Thames to take on neighbours Dartfordians.

It's been a tough start to the season for the Oakfield side, with two defeats, the latest being last weekend's home 24-51 mauling by Old Tiffinians.

Their hosts have suffered a similarly difficult opening and sit bottom of the table after two defeats.

There will be action at Oakfield, where the seconds play host to their Brentwood counterparts in their season league opener (3pm). The thirds make the reverse trip, going to take on Old Brentwoods II.

After the disappointment of their first match defeat at London Irish, the T-Birds ladies firsts hit the road again, hoping to bounce back at Bath in the Championship South on Sunday.

In the women's NC South east (North), T-Birds seconds will be at home to Thamesians.
