THURROCK may have to beware a wounded animal when they travel to Finchley in the London & South East Division Regional 2 Anglia Division on Saturday.

After winning their first two fixtures, the side from Summers Lane in North London have lost four on the spin and sit just below visiting Tees, who have had successive wins including last week's victory against Chelmsford but with a long injury list the local side will be far from complacent.

Stanford-le-Hope have three wins on the spin to their name in London & South East Counties 1 Essex but their trip to Epping Upper Clapton pitches them against a side three places above them in third place so the Redmen's trip to Thornwood Common will be laced with difficulty.

In the Group 1 Automotive Essex Merit League Division one, Pegasus Palmerians are scheduled to host third-placed Romford & Gidea Park Seconds, while there's a derby at Garron Lane where Thames take on neighbours Thurrock Seconds.

After their encouraging performance last weekend against Exeter University, Thurrock T-Birds will have been disappointed to concede this weekend's scheduled clash at North Bristol Ladies, but they go again at Ivybridge on Sunday, 15 November.
