Purfleet Heritage & Military Centre reopens on Sunday 1st March after a 3 month shutdown. They are 15 months in to a 2 year refurbishment of their displays, layout, inventory. In fact all aspects of the Centre are under review to improve its offering.

We are currently giving work experience to 6th form art sudents from USP Palmers. The contribution to displays is a welcome enhancement.

On the day T100 will bring the silk flags of Purfleet-on-Thames at 10:30. Madam Mayor will say a few words at 11am. At 11:30 T100 leave to start a riverside walk https://t100festival.co.uk/2-5/

New displays include a brand new army section and for the first time a new geology display. Admission is free or by donation on the day.
