Diesels take over the railway for one day only at the BMR! See our resident diesel locomotives, such as 'Uncle John', 'Royal Highland Fusilier, and plenty more. There may be a visiting engine or two along the way, to be confirmed closer to the event.

Expect a selection of passenger and demonstration goods trains over the day. Not to be missed!

TICKET COST: Adults and children the same rate. RETURN (x1 ride) = £7. ROVER (unlimited rides) = £10. No booking required, contactless payment only.

TIMINGS: Gates open at 11:00. Trains run every 20 minutes until 16:00. The railway is usually very busy when we open at 11:00 and usually quieten down further into the afternoon.

THE GARDENS: Barnards Farm Gardens are . This means no entry fee for the gardens, just the railway.

GETTING TO US: Barnards Miniature Railway, Barnards Farm, Brentwood. CM13 3FY. Free on-site parking

FOOD & DRINK: Feel free to bring a picnic and use the tables and seating. Light refreshments offered from our Burtonshaw Terminus station.

DOGS : Please note dogs are not permitted unless they are guide dogs.
